Presentation: “The Mummy MOO Project: Dismantling the Dairy Narrative”

Gillian has been vegan for thirty years and attributes motherhood as the driving force to becoming an activist. She spent the last year photographing mothers and babies on BC Dairy farms.

In this powerful presentation, Gillian shares her own personal story through a feminist, intersectional lens to draw parallels between the oppression of woman and the oppression of cows in the dairy system, weaving throughout photographs from the MummyMOO Project.
