Matthew Nagra

Struggling with asthma, allergies, and weight as a teenager, Dr. Nagra decided to begin his transition towards a more plant-based diet nearly 11 years ago, and to his surprise, those health issues saw massive improvements in a very short time. While studying at the University of Victoria a couple years later, he decided to make the switch to a 100% plant-based diet and has been thriving on the lifestyle for nearly 9 years.

 

In 2018 he graduated from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine and promotes the use of plant-based nutrition in treating many of our chronic diseases. He is certified in plant-based nutrition through Cornell University and has written articles for Dr. T Colin Campbell’s Center for Nutrition Studies while also volunteering for Nutritionfacts.org, an excellent source of evidence-based nutrition information. He believes the evidence supporting a whole foods, plant-based diet is no longer refutable and aims to educate the public on how they too can take control of their health, starting with what’s on their plate.
